Command Performance peony is a prolific bloomer, producing massive, bomb-shaped flowers. Buds begin a brilliant cardinal red and slowly fade to vintage warm pink as they age. The strongly fragrant flowers can reach about seven inches across and were bred specifically for superior cut-flower performance. Thick stems produce exceptional flowers for the vase, although the weight of the blooms means plants benefit from support in the garden.
