Join Anne Long of The Dahlia House and master floral designer Ariella Chezar for a 3-day Floral Design Intensive in the Skagit Valley, Washington.

Dates: Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, 10:00 AM to Thursday, September 17th, 2026, 4:00 PM

What's Included (additional details below):

All Instruction: Daily classes with Ariella Chezar and Anne Long. Using locally sourced florals from the abundance of the region, students will craft large floral installations, hand held bouquets, and table arrangements for any event.

Meals: Daily lunch, and an intimate farm-to-table dinner in the flower field as the sun slowly sets, featuring locally sourced fare from the surrounding Skagit Valley farms.

Professional photos:
At the conclusion of the retreat, guests will receive a collection of professional photos of their work for use for promotional purposes.

The cost of the Retreat does not include travel expenses or accommodations.

  • Gardeners, flower arrangers, and enthusiasts of all skill levels are welcome

Location

Our retreat takes place at The Dahlia House flower field on Fir Island, as well as in the iconic School House at Christianson's Nursery in Mount Vernon, Washington, where guests will be given a tour of the sprawling grounds.
