ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Join us in breathtaking Skagit Valley at the height of dahlia season to learn from renowned experts from across the flower industry through lectures, live Q & A, and hands-on workshops.

Connect with festival speakers on Friday and Saturday evenings and wander among tens of thousands of blooming dahlias. VIP ticket holders are invited to join festival speakers and Anne and Taylor Long for an intimate farm-to-table dinner.

Local farm stands, nurseries, and businesses are invited to participate - offering tours, discounts, and open houses. Stay tuned for these participants and their offerings!

Zinna Hybridizing Workshop
9-12am: Tiffany Jones
Focus on zinnias, detailing breeding and identification, pollination and cuttings. 

Dahlia Hybridizing Workshop

Hands-on workshop to explore dahlia hybridization and hand pollination.

Flower Field Day

The Dahlia House’s flower field on Fir Island will be open for guests to wander the field, take pictures, and enjoy the stunning views surrounded by tens of thousands of flowers.

Flower Festival Details & Location

All ticketed events on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday will take place at The Dahlia House field: 20555 Dry Slough Road in Mount Vernon, WA.

The two Friday daytime workshops will take place at Christianson's Nursery.

During the festival, local Skagit Valley flower farms, farm stands, nurseries, and small businesses will also participate by offering tours, discounts, and open houses. Stay tuned for participating locations and special offerings.

What should I wear?

That’s completely up to you! Please keep in mind that we can’t control Mother Nature, and the field can be windy at times, especially in the afternoon and evening. We recommend checking the local forecast and wearing comfortable shoes. This is a working flower farm with uneven paths and occasional pokey weeds.

Is there a bathroom on the property?

Yes. There is a bathroom and hand washing station located at the south end of the field.

Can I bring my pet?

Sorry, other than approved service animals, dogs and other animals are not allowed.

Will there be food and/or drinks available?

Some events may include food and/or drinks. Please check your specific ticketed event for details. Unless otherwise noted, food and drinks will not be available. You’re welcome to bring bottled drinks and light snacks. At this time, we do not have a designated picnic or dining area.

Are tickets refundable?

Due to the planning, limited space, and upfront costs involved, all ticket purchases are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your ticket is fully transferable. You’re welcome to gift or resell it to someone else. Please let us know so we can update the attendee information on our end.

Will cut flowers be available for purchase?

To support best practices for disease prevention, we no longer offer a u-pick option. However, pre-made bouquets may be available for purchase on select days. Please check your specific ticketed event for details.
