A Slow & Beautiful 3-Day Retreat in the Flowers

This retreat is a pause from the hustle and bustle—an invitation into community, rest, and play (with flowers, of course).

Over three days, you’ll step away from the noise and into something slower, softer, and wildly beautiful. Root into Skagit Valley soil, reconnect with yourself, and immerse in the joy of flowers. This is an intentionally curated experience designed for rest, reflection, and meaningful connection—with nature, yourself, and fellow kindreds. Expect plenty of room for play, refreshment, and inspiration.

Where We’ll Stay
Our home base is House Kinlands—a warm, thoughtfully restored farmhouse in Bow, Washington. This light-filled space is made for slow mornings, field walks, shared meals, and moments of quiet joy.

Each day, we’ll take a short drive (just 20 minutes) to the flower field on Fir Island, where thousands of dahlias bloom between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade foothills. With the warm Skagit sun and views of Mt. Baker (yes—the mountain and the cat), it’s pure magic.

A Thoughtful Schedule with Plenty of Flexibility
Each day is gently structured and full of opportunities to learn, create, and connect.

Daily highlights include:
+ Free time for journaling, resting, or wandering
+ Flower field sessions
+ Optional morning yoga
+ Shared lunches and dinners
+ Optional one-on-one sessions with Anne

Every session is optional. This retreat is designed to serve you—take what you need, skip what you don’t. There’s no pressure to “do it all.”

What to Expect:

Ease Into Each Day:
Begin with optional yoga or quiet time in the garden or farmhouse.

Time in the Flower Fields: Walk. Harvest. Wonder. Play. Anne will lead demos and be available for hands-on support throughout. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity.

Free Time, Your Way: Arrange blooms, nap in the shade, take a slow stroll, or simply be. There’s no right way to enjoy this space.

Evenings Together: We’ll gather for outdoor dinners each night—two at House Kinlands, and a final golden hour meal in the flower field.

This Retreat Is For You If
+ You're craving space to slow down and reconnect—with yourself, nature, and flower-loving folks.
+You want to expand your artistry of flower growing and arranging
+ You’re seeking stillness, beauty, and carved-out time to simply be
