Anne Long

Owner

Owner and occupier of The Dahlia House, Anne is an extroverted, people-loving-flower-enthusiast with a knack for making people feel right at home. She loves to dream big, give hugs and share flowers. Click here to read about Anne’s floral journey.

Favorite Things: Bookclub, sparkle drinks, crispy fries, and date nights.
Fun Fact: Anne’s dream job #2 is to be a choreographer (she’s pretty dang good at the Moonwalk).
Super Power: Making dinner for a crowd at a moment's notice.

Lauren Fikkert

PHOTOGRAPHER

Lauren is the Head of Photo & Video at Dahlia House (and much, much more!). Lauren and Anne have been dreaming about “having a flower business together” for nearly 20 years (insert happy dance GIF). Lauren designs those gorg Insta posts, is an introverted type A and occasionally Anne’s ghost-writer.

Favorite Things: Bookclub, salted caramel ice cream, and house projects with Seth
Fun Fact: Before joining team Dahlia, Lauren wrangled littles as a First Grade teacher. 
Super Power: Maps. Literally & figuratively. lauren’s destination recall and Google Docs organizational skills are unparalleled.

 
 

TAYLOR

PHOTOGRAPHER / HEAD OF FINANCE / #1 husband

Taylor is our numbers guy, helping with internet analytics (what?!) and fiscal years (huh?). He is Anne’s sounding board, a reluctant dahlia labeler and a patient and gentle '“rein-er-inner” of Anne’s sometimes-way-too-big ideas.

Favorite Things: Anne. Obviously.
Fun Fact: Taylor was born in Germany so, unfortunately, he can never be president of the United States (dang it).
Super Power: Fixing basically anything. Seriously. Like anything.

SETH

PHOTOGRAPHER / CREATIVE ADVISOR

Seth is our creative advisor– helping us with all things design and anything that needs construction. He is Lauren’s back up camera man, an amazing sound engineer and is head of our Comic Relief Department

Favorite Things: Vinyl records, good coffee, and personal questions
Fun Fact: Seth can find pretty much anything second-hand. His nickname…“The Craigslist Ninja”. 
Super Power: Story-telling. He can leave a crowd in stitches in ten seconds flat.

 

The Kid Crew

between the four of us, We’ve got SEVEN kids

With a 14 year age span from Anne’s oldest and Lauren’s youngest, there is just about every possible personality type represented. It’s a party. They love beach dinners & summer evenings in the backyard. The younger crew’s fav thing is finding fart-related songs on Spotify.


Copper

One of the BEST dogs in the whole, wide world

Copper is twelve years young and naps almost all day on whatever laundry pile is the squishiest. She tolerates the puppies because she loves us (and probably them. At least a little).

Anne’s sweet Havadoodle puppy, Ted, was instrumental in convincing Lauren that her family also needed a puppy.
